1. What we mean by "cookie"
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store, so that the next time you visit, the browser can read it back. We use the term loosely to also cover similar technologies, such as localStorage and short-lived tokens issued by bot-detection services.
2. What this site sets
The table below summarizes what may be set on this site, by whom, and why. "Strictly necessary" entries are required for the site to function; "Analytics" entries load only after consent where consent is legally required (e.g. for visitors in the EU/UK and for KVKK-relevant cookies in Türkiye).
| Category | Provider | Purpose | Lifetime | Consent |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary Admin session | First-party (TrustEdge Labs) | Keeps the operator signed in to /admin. Set only after successful login by the operator. | 12h | Not required (essential for the feature) |
| Bot mitigation Form pages | Cloudflare (Turnstile) | Verifies you are not an automated bot before accepting a form submission. | ≤ 30 min | Not required (legitimate interest in protecting the form) |
| Analytics When configured | Google (Analytics) | Aggregated usage statistics, e.g. _ga, _ga_*. No advertising remarketing, no cross-site profile. | ≤ 14 mo | Loaded only after consent where consent is legally required |
| Marketing | — | We do not place advertising, retargeting, or social-media tracking cookies. | — | N/A |
2.1 Note on the operator session cookie
The admin session cookie is set only for the site operator when signing in to /admin. Public visitors never receive this cookie. It is HttpOnly, Secure, and SameSite=Lax.
2.2 Note on Cloudflare Turnstile
Turnstile is a privacy-focused alternative to traditional CAPTCHAs and does not rely on cross-site tracking cookies. The tokens it sets are short-lived and used only to confirm a successful challenge for the duration of a form submission.
3. How to manage cookies
You can clear, block, or reject cookies at any time using your browser's settings. Most browsers also allow you to refuse third-party cookies entirely. Doing so should not break this site; it will, at worst, disable analytics or require you to complete a Turnstile challenge again.
For Google Analytics, you can also install the official Google Analytics Opt-Out browser add-on, which prevents data from being collected by GA across all sites.
4. Changes
If we add or remove cookies, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date at the top.
