1. What we mean by "cookie"
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store, so that the next time you visit, the browser can read it back. We use the term loosely to also cover similar technologies, such as localStorage and short-lived tokens issued by bot-detection services.
2. What this site sets
2.1 Strictly necessary
We do not currently set any cookies that strictly require your consent for the site to operate. The site is largely static and does not maintain a server-side login session.
2.2 Bot mitigation (only on form pages)
When a form has Cloudflare Turnstile enabled, Cloudflare may set short-lived tokens (cookies and/or localStorage) to verify you are not an automated bot and to remember a successful challenge for a short period. These are necessary to protect the forms from abuse and last only as long as needed for that purpose.
2.3 Analytics (only when configured)
If a deployment of this site has Google Analytics enabled, Google will set its standard analytics cookies (e.g. _ga, _ga_*) to compile aggregated usage statistics. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising remarketing or for cross-site profile building, and we anonymize IP addresses where Google's settings allow it.
On deployments where the analytics environment variable is not set, no analytics cookies are loaded.
2.4 No marketing cookies
We do not place any advertising, retargeting, or social-media tracking cookies on this site.
3. How to manage cookies
You can clear, block, or reject cookies at any time using your browser's settings. Most browsers also allow you to refuse third-party cookies entirely. Doing so should not break this site; it will, at worst, disable analytics.
For Cloudflare's bot-mitigation cookies, you can read more in Cloudflare's documentation. Note that disabling them may prevent forms on this site from being submitted.
For Google Analytics, you can also install the official Google Analytics Opt-Out browser add-on, which prevents data from being collected by GA across all sites.
4. Changes
If we add or remove cookies, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date at the top.
